Preparations for India
Today is the 30th January 2025 and the preparations for India are running hot. And in about 40h I’ll be sitting in an airplane heading to Bangalore, India. The last few days or rather weeks were very stressful.
But now we are marching forward…
I am somewhat afraid of traveling that far, but I truly hope the trip will be nice and enjoyable.
Also 2 Years ago I visited Delhi and India for the first time, so at least it’s not my first time (he-he). The trip was interesting and definitely, for me, a “Culture Shock”. I have fond memories of that trip and am very proud of some of the pictures I took during the safari. Even though, the safari was a letdown. In Delhi itself, I think we found and saw more animals than in “live habitat” and also our guide didn’t really have a clue what he was doing. We still paid him tho !!!
And so to end my little attempt to publish this Post. I wish you all a nice [insert your time here].
Day 0 in Bangalore or Bengaluru
Since we landed really early in the morning (I think we arrived at the hotel at 4am) we almost slept the whole day.
The first thing we did: We went to IKEA, and we bought a Blahaj and I already finished my first roll of film in my md-2.
Also, yay I can now sleep well and hug my Blahaj. It was such an unreal experience to be in an IKEA. To be really honest, it didn’t fit in with the other buildings around, but the experience was about the same (the menu is slightly changed — but still good !!!).
After that, we went to the weirdest restaurant / venue / Colosseum ever. It was basically a huge staircase and on the top there was a live performance (basically karaoke). And if you go down the staircase, there is a small pond and around the pond is the restaurant (Horrible at explaining I know).
Also, I don’t know if I will post every day or if I will just make a post every other day, but we will see.
