It’s my second day in Bengaluru and it’s also Nana’s first workday. We both slept not that much sadly (surely we didn’t stay up until 5am — probably jet lag).
The original plan was going to the Museum of Art and Photography (MAP) but on the way over I realized it was closed (nice!). Since right next to Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum. The museum had 4 different floors and it was adorable. Surprisingly, there is a lot to do. Like in almost every “exhibit” you can press a button or “trigger” an experiment.

When I arrived at the entrance, there was a whole school class waiting of around 30–50 Kids. What I find surprising that they were all in uniform. I personally really like the idea of a school uniform, since that wasn’t really a thing in Switzerland. Maybe I would think differently if i were forced to wear a uniform, but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

What is also really weird to me. Since I was walking around alone. I was asked a lot to take pictures with random school children and even the teacher asked me to take pictures with the class. Not to sound ignorant, but they all knew where Switzerland was located. I wouldn’t have thought that Switzerland would be so well known (?).
Also yay I got numerous compliments and some gender euphoria since I never got miss gendered and some of the girls apparently really liked my beret / my style of clothing ₍⑅ᐢ..ᐢ₎ .

Mom, I made it – I’m famous!

After the museum I went to the only analog Film store and fell down some stairs yay (˶ˆᗜˆ˵) . Luckily nothing happened except I bruised my arm and my hip a bit. Watch out, the stairs are very slippery (⸝⸝๑﹏๑⸝⸝) .

Ouch (´;ω;`)

I am disappointed, to be fully honest, by the selection of the film since they only have like the most popular film stocks. I would have expected them to have some respooled film or some other weird film brands. Since, they have some film stocks on their website that I have never seen. But sadly that is not the case. Plus moreover, the film is about the same price as it is in Switzerland. For one roll of Fujicolor C200 I paid 1300 INR which is about 14 Swiss Francs. And in Switzerland, I can get one roll of Fujicolor I pay about 15 CHF.

Cute store ₍⑅ᐢ..ᐢ₎

I just can’t believe film is so expensive here in India. And just to put things into perspective. When I was at the museum I bought a grilled sandwich, some Tea and a bottle of water and it was in total 100 INR (1 CHF). And it was freshly made. They even spread butter on the toast and put it in a panini press (˶ˆᗜˆ˵). It was excellent, especially the tea.

First time shooting Slide Film (Ektachrome 200) in my MD-2 Camera.

But that’s it for the 2nd day. Thank you for reading my Post and my rambling about all the different things I saw, discovered and experienced.
